Unruly Behavior Insights

Students’ generation now a days are getting intractable and obstinate. Intractable because they are sometimes difficult to influence or alleviate. Obstinate because they are firmly and stubbornly adhering to their own will. Giving corporal punishment is a big no-no for teachers, these will lead to teachers expulsion or maybe being unlicensed.

As teachers to be, one way to tame these kinds of students is to try to be more patient and be more positive. Know that these skills will take time to develop and adjust. Maybe give them surprises or reward in exchange of their behavior in classroom. Reprimanding them by saying it in a calm and positive tune of voice because the more you get angry the more they will tease and mock at you.

Teachers should not punish students; instead they should understand, perceive and learn to catch their weakness. Use this as their weakness and use this as their own way of taming them by their unwanted attitudes in class.
